Reiki therapy is beneficial in guiding energy throughout the body to promote your body’s self-healing abilities. Through gentle touch methods, reiki encourages a healthy flow of energy in order to lower stress and improve mood, emotional well-being. Reiki helps return your body to a state of relaxation which helps alleviate: insomnia, stress, depression, anxiety and pain. By improving the autonomic nervous system (heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, and digestion), the body shifts from sympathetic (fight or flight) to a parasympathetic (rest and digest) state.
